Create a dreamy kitchen herb garden

I wanted to create a kitchen herb garden that I would definitely make good use of. I planted it just 15 feet from our backdoor, right off the patio. It attracts bees and butterflies and gives me endless joy to know that practically any herb I would like to cook with is at my fingertips.

Since we have plentiful paver bricks I used some here to create sections in the herb garden and to prevent one herb from taking over another. Fast forward a couple of years and the garden is quite robust.

You can see from the progress images how I laid it out with sections and with a border that also serves as a path. In the beginning I put up a temporary fence so the bunnies and other critters were less inclined to nibble on the young leaves. I purchased all of the herb starts at my local nursery.
