If you want to create a garden with character while incorporating a touch of vintage charm, one way to do this is by going to estate sales, garage sales and local thrift and antique stores.
I collect and curate an array of vintage finds to add character and style to outdoor and indoor spaces. From weathered planters and antique garden tools to vintage floral prints and garden-inspired decor pieces, I'm always surprised by how easy it is to find great art objects in every day places.
I found this garden art at a local antique mall. It may not be an actual antique, but it does make me happy and it reminds me to look up, as the arrow points forever skyward. It's a bit rusty and has a lot more character than a piece that I could have purchased new.
